The Fort Washington - Accokeek Recreation Council Boys & Girls Club (the “Cannons”) is an all volunteer non-profit organization governed by an annually elected Board of Directors.

Our main purpose is to sponsor educational and sports activities for persons living in the Fort Washington, Accokeek, and the surrounding communities. All those who participate or have children who participate in these activities are members of the Council. Your membership in FWARC allows you to influence the variety and quality of programs we sponsor.

For our programs to be effective, we must have the continued support of all our parents and friends. The fees we charge only cover a fraction of the cost to run these programs. Without volunteers our programs would not survive. Get involved and be a part of your child’s future in our community. Activities run year round.

We need you to volunteer today.  Your assistance and efforts are needed and greatly appreciated. Come out and help support your club.  Volunteer NOW.
